Hall Road Rangers manager Martin Thacker has urged his side to record their third straight victory tomorrow.
Hall Road have beaten strugglers Teversal and Winterton Rangers in their last two Toolstation NCEL Division One games and Thacker wants to add Dronfield Town to their list.
Thacker, whose side host Dronfield at Dene Park, said: “I generally think when you look at our fixtures the teams below us are there to be beaten.
“We’ve kept 5 clean sheets in the last 11 games but our problem has been scoring goals.
“Now we’re on form scoring goals and it looks like our problems have sorted themselves out.
“We’ve now got obviously Sam (O’Mally), Jonathan (Blakeston) and now Danny (Walker) who have all played so well together.
“We’ve practically gone 4-3-3, but defending 4-4-2 and Danny has given us a different option. We’re practically playing off him, and the front three are playing great together.”
Thacker’s side are certainly one for the future in division one, with almost half the squad under the age of 23.
Thacker believes younger players are more likely to show their confidence and he said: “You get some older players, when you say they’re playing well, they take it a bit tongue in cheek.
“But for young kids playing well breeds confidence and you don’t really get that from older players.
“Younger kids are up and down and once you put your arm around them you start getting confidence and results.”
Hall Road have three homes games in quick succession. Dronfield, Hemsworth and Shirebrook are due to visit Dene Park before the end of March.
The Rangers boss believes his side have a great platform to pick up some points and keep their confidence up.
He said: “I think if you asked me if I wanted to play at home three times at the start of the season I’d of said no.
“The pitch was in a bad state, but now Hull United have rolled the pitch it’s looking better.
“Hopefully we can keep our form going, and next year we really need to make Haworth a fortress. I know that’s a bit of a cliché but we really do.”
And Thacker is always looking for ways to improve his Hall Road side, with one new signing already expected to make his debut on Saturday.
“We’re definitely going to add in the summer,” he added.
“I wouldn’t be doing my job properly if I didn’t set out to. Tomorrow we’ve got a new player playing who’s just signed from Winterton (Robbie Start) and he’s a winger.
“He may be 26 but I think he’s played over 150 games at this level.
“The thing that we’ve lacked mostly is wide men, but he will sort out or problems on the wing.”
