Shaw Lane Aquaforce pulled off a fantastic 3-0 win at Heanor Town in great adversity to end a run of two defeats.
Joe Thornton played almost the whole match in goal after stopper Ben Gathercole was stretched off in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division clash.
Thornton even made a great save in a one-on-one situation when the scores were goal-less.
Substitute Shane Kelsey put Aquaforce in front towards the end of the first half with a strike at the back-post.
Kelsey’s cutting pass put Lee Morris through for the second goal straight after the interval.
Andrew Fox put the icing on the cake in the last minute with a close range finish for the third goal.
