Rob Bordman’s stunning free kick which earned Nostell all three points spelled the end for Jas Colliver as Staveley manager
Jas Colliver parted company “amicably” with Staveley Miners Welfare last night after his side lost 2-1 at ten man Nostell Miners Welfare.
His assistant Ryan France has also left, but there are no details of who will take charge of their remaining four games of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division campaign.
Staveley appeared to comfortably heading to victory at Nostell as Sam Finlan had given them a 55th minute lead.
Nostell defender Jack Fisher was then sent off for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
However, two goals inside 120 seconds in the last ten minutes, secured a brilliant win for Nostell – their tenth victory in 15 games.
James Kitson scored his sixth goal since his arrival at Crofton last month to continue his great form, but it was left to the usual hero to secure the three points.
