Graham Nicholas’ future as Garforth Town manager is unlikely to be resolved until the middle of May.
Nicholas and the club are letting the dust settle on their Toolstation NCEL Premier Division campaign – which ended at Athersley on Saturday – before making decisions on next season.
The club’s presentation night is taking place on May 15th and a meeting between all concerned parties is expected to take place a few days later.
It is unclear whether the club’s owners want him to carry on in the role he has held since July 2013.
During that time, Nicholas has stabilised a team in complete disarray on-the-pitch and created a young and competitive side in the NCEL.
He has won many plaudits for his tactical know-how from other managers and his side’s organised approach helped them defy the odds to reach the West Riding County Cup Final.
If he is offered the chance to manage Garforth for a third term, Nicholas does have reservations.
As an A-Licensed coach, Nicholas is unhappy about the lack of training facilities.
Garforth have hardly trained this season and the Miners boss has openly said he believes the situation has had a direct impact on results.
