Clipstone will join Pontefract Collieries in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division next season after winning promotion on Tuesday night.
Clipstone scored three second half goals to secure promotion and a 3-0 win at Worsbrough Bridge.
The Mansfield-based side are now in the driving seat for the Division One title as they have a game in hand on Pontefract Collieries.
After a tense first half, Clipstone eventually started steering towards the Premier Division on the hour mark when the opening goal arrived.
Blake Owen supplied the assist and Jamie Smith drove a low shot into the bottom corner.
Worsbrough were then reduced to ten men as Mark Stuart saw red for a bad challenge on Rob Austin.
From the free kick, Smith repaid the favour by finding Owen, who scored the second goal.
It was fitting how Clipstone sealed their promotion as club captain Rich Mintoft added the third.
If Clipstone win their two final games, the championship is theirs in Chris Millington’s first season as a manager in senior football.
Clipstone manager Chris Millington:
“This season is down not only to the hard work of the playing staff, but just as importantly to the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
“The whole committee (Brett Marshall, Dave Paling,Barry Clark, Mick Flinton and Nigel Spalding).
“My coaching staff are been absolutely amazing people. They all deserve this promotion, and the other success the club have achieved.”
Clipstone: Siddons, Walker, Paling, Rawson, Mintoft, Hill (Owen), Thomas, Austin, Smith, Ord, Mawby. Subs: Carnall, Whitehead, Colley, Gibson.
