Emmerdale’s Danny Miller scored an impressive hat-trick in his side’s 3-2 win over the British Transport Police at Garforth Town.

Stars of the popular ITV soap turned out in force to support the match which was organised to raise money for The Police Treatment Centres.

The Police Treatment Centres is a registered charity which provides treatment, recuperation, support and rest, including intensive, police-specific, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, for injured and ill police officers and retired officers.

James Hooton (Sam Dingle), Anthony Quinlan and Joe Gill also played. Veteran actor John Bowe was amongst the watching crowd alongside actress Michelle Hardwick.

Katie Fenton, a script supervisor on the show, also made an appearance on the field.

The match was a tight affair, but Miller was the difference between the sides.

Richard Moses and Matty Christopher scored for the Police.
