Joe Thornton and Shaw Lane Aquaforce are hoping for similar celebrations this week

The Evo Stik League action may be over for our Yorkshire clubs, but there is still plenty of matches still to come in the next two weeks.

Shaw Lane Aquaforce’s quest to become the 2015 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title winners is the most exciting event of the week.

Aquaforce have two chances to get over the finish line, but one win from their games with Cleethorpes Town (Tuesday night) and Glasshoughton (Saturday) will see them secure their passage to the Evo Stik League.

Nostell Miners Welfare also have one of the biggest games in their history coming up.

Nostell will appear in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup final for the first time and they are looking to cause a major upset against Frickley Athletic.

The final takes place on Friday night at Rotherham’s New York Stadium.

Bridlington Town are two weeks away from their East Riding Senior Cup final tie with Hull United at the KC Stadium.
