Swallownest Miners Welfare have decided to fight the ground grading decision which has halted their aims to become a Toolstation Northern Counties East League team next season.
The FA will hear their appeal later this month after their Rotherham Road home failed its ground grading inspection.
Swallownest finished third in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior League Premier Division, which is good enough for promotion as long as facilities meet criteria.
Hull United from the Humber Premier League and Central Midlands League duo Clay Cross and Westella are the other three clubs who have applied to join the NCEL.
