Nostell Miners Welfare are looking for a new manager
Nostell Miners Welfare have had plenty of interest from people wanting to succeed Paul Lines.
The search for Lines’ replacement began on Sunday evening and Nostell even had an application 30 minutes after the news was announced.
The Crofton-based club have now set a deadline of Monday 18th May for applications.
A spokesman from the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side said: “We have been really pleased with the response.
“It has been really positive. We have had seven definite applications and a lot of telephone and email enquiries.
“But, we need to stay calm and not make a hasty decision. We must deliberate and make the correct decision for the future of the football club.”
Lines resigned on Sunday morning following the departure of chairman Simon Turfrey last week.
