Hemsworth boss Wayne Benn is Non League Yorkshire’s manager of the season
Wayne Benn has been crowned as Non League Yorkshire’s manager of the season.
Benn scooped 200 votes and finish ahead of second-placed Hallam boss Ryan Hindley (159 votes).
Hemsworth Miners Welfare chief Benn is a deserved winner after turning his club from a bottom-half side into title contenders in the space of less than 12 months.
Over 600 votes were counted in a neck-and-neck race which also saw third-placed Harrogate Railway manager Billy Miller receive 144 votes.
Title-winning Shaw Lane Aquaforce boss Craig Elliott took fourth spot, while Pontefract Collieries duo Duncan Bray and Nick Handley finished in the last spot.
