Paul Lines has sensationally returned as manager of Nostell Miners Welfare alongside chairman Simon Turfrey.
The pair resigned last weekend, but Turfrey met with the club’s committee today (Friday) and agreed to return as chairman.
Turfrey then contacted Lines at lunchtime and reappointed him as the club’s first team boss.
“I’m glad to be back,” Lines exclusively revealed to Non League Yorkshire.
“I didn’t want to leave because of the great people at the club, but it needs Si and other investors to take it forward.
“It has been a mad week and I’m just looking forward to cracking on and preparing for next season.
“I regret resigning on the basis of leaving a lot of good people, but I to resign because of what I want to achieve.
“I can achieve that now and hopefully we can a great season next year.”
