Brad Dixon signed his Ossett Town career off by winning the players’ player of the year trophy at their presentation night.

Dixon, who is heading off to America, has enjoyed an excellent season between the sticks since replacing Sam Dobbs last summer.

Whilst results were not great at times, Dixon won a lot of praise for his performances and this was recognised by his team-mates.

Ossett boss John Reed gave his managers’ player of the season trophy to Sam Pashley.

The first team player of the year award went to Ross Armstrong.

Armstrong was an unknown quantity at the start of the season after arriving from local football.

But, he has impressed and ultimately another deserved winner.

The club’s committee gave their player of the year award to Reed’s player-assistant Dave Merris.
