Adam Priestley’s destination has turned out to be Evo Stik Division One South new-boys Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
The Gibraltar striker announced his exit from Farsley AFC last night and signed his contract with Aquaforce earlier this evening.
Aquaforce manager Craig Elliott told Non League Yorkshire: “I have known him since he was 17 and I watched his career from when he was at Sherburn White Rose in the West Yorkshire League.
“He got better and better as the years have gone on and he’s someone I’ve tried to sign in the last two years.
“He did well at Garforth in the team that got to the play-offs and he has done well at Farsley.
“Now he has gone all the way to be an International for Gibraltar.
“He’s at a good age because he’s 25 and he has got years in front of him.
“I think he’s ready for a new challenge and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
Priestley joins Gary Stohrer, Luke O’Brien and Stefan Holt in committing themselves to Aquaforce for next season.
Shaw Lane are expected to confirm further new signings later this week.
