Three more players have agreed to stay on at Tadcaster Albion under Billy Miller.

Young player of the year Calum Ward and clubman of the year Pete Lawrie will remain with the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side, along with utility man Josh Barrett.

Striker Ward is well-thought of by the club’s owners i2i Sports. He is in second spell with Tadcaster having spent time at Glasshoughton Welfare and Ossett Town in between.

Lawrie is well-respected for his commitment last season when he travelled back from home in Sheffield to either play or be understudy to goalkeeper Tom Morgan.

Barrett has been with Tadcaster for a few seasons now and was deployed in various positions by previous manager Paul Marshall – but mainly either right-back or upfront.
