Yorkshire Amateur are aiming to improve on last season’s tenth place finish in Division One of the Toolstation NCEL.
That’s the challenge for manager Phil Harding and his head coach Rick Addy when the season starts in August.
The team is likely to remain mostly intact and they already have two new faces.
As Leeds’ most central Non League team, the Ammers pick up a lot of University students and a duo have arrived from a Northern League outfit.
Looking ahead, Addy said: “The ambition is to build on tenth place and I think we can.
“Last season was a magnificent achievement considering where the club has been in recent memory.
“We’re back in the FA Cup and that’s something to look forward and it must be appealing for players.
“A big positive is that the team will be mostly the same from last season.
“We’re going to be working hard in pre-season and new players are welcome to join us.
“It should be good because we also have an excellent friendly schedule lined up with games against Bradford (Park Avenue), Brighouse Town and Harrogate Railway.”
