Buxton midfielder Neil Stevens is returning to his first club – Farsley Celtic next season.
Farsley boss Neil Parsley has been chasing Stevens for a number of seasons and he finally got his man this week.
Stevens, who lives locally, came through the youth system at Throstle Nest and he came to the fore when he captained the reserves to the Lancashire League double.
He then played for the first team in the Conference North in 2008 before moving onto Buxton where he has stayed since – bar a brief spell with North Ferriby.
Stevens is the first new signing at Evo Stik Division One North side Farsley this summer.
