Martin Allison is now player/coach at Brighouse Town
Veteran player Martin Allison has joined Brighouse Town’s coaching staff.
Allison has been with Brighouse for two seasons and has helped them win the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title and then establish themselves as an Evo Stik club.
Brighouse manager Paul Quinn said: “Martin has a lot to offer us as a club and we sat down and had a good chat at the end of last season and Martin accepted the role of player/coach.
“We have always managed to add a different dimension to the coaching setup in the close season and Martin’s experience both on and off the field will be crucial if we are to meet our targets this season.”
Allison will still be registered as a player.
