Shaw Lane Aquaforce could play their arch rivals Athersley Recreation in their first ever FA Cup game in August.
Aquaforce will face a trip to Alsager or Athersley at the end of August for their FA Cup Preliminary Round tie.
Athersley would have to do their bit by seeing off Alsager in the Extra Preliminary Round, but a chance to play their neighbours in the World’s Oldest Competition is a huge incentive.
The pick of the ties in the Extra Preliminary Round is Penistone Church’s home clash with newly-promoted Pontefract Collieries.
The match will be Penistone’s first in the competition.
