Experienced goalkeeper Jamie Bailey is back with Maltby Main after a year away
Popular goalkeeper Jamie Bailey is returning to Maltby Main for their centenary season.
Bailey was Maltby’s long-serving stopper until last summer when he joined Shaw Lane Aquaforce before finishing the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division season at Parkgate.
Bailey won various player of the year awards during his previous stint with the club.
Veteran striker Brian Cusworth is also confirmed to be returning as Maltby prepare to return to action against Denaby Main on Wednesday night.
The game will be new bosses Spencer Fearn and Mark Askwith’s first at the helm.
Main then have fixtures with Great Britain Deaf, Sheffield FC and Sheffield United coming up in the next few weeks.
