Ian Richards wants to add three players to his Penistone Church team
Ian Richards is in talks with three un-named players as he plots Penistone Church’s promotion challenge.
If he can persuade them to join his club then they have plenty to look forward to as Church are aiming to challenge at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Division One table.
Church are also in the FA Cup for the first time ever when they host Pontefract Collieries in the Extra Preliminary Round in mid-August.
Richards has confirmed that apart from one player, all of last season’s side have re-signed.
The only player leaving is goalkeeper Joe Green who is moving to America as part of a scholarship.
