Paul Lines is heading into his first full season at Nostell Miners Welfare

Paul Lines has confirmed the majority of players who will be lining up for Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side Nostell Miners Welfare this season.

Lines and new assistant manager Dave Bordman are aiming to carry on the momentum from last season when they avoided relegation and reached the final of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

A few faces remain from last term – Wayne Ball, Ste Wales, Matthew Johnson, James Davies, Dale Kelly, Simon Poole, Max Elliott, Ben Saynor, Billy Mole, Jamie Allsop, Michael Brooks, Tom Booth and Josh Craig are back,.

Former Wakefield and Glasshoughton midfielder John Douglas is one of the more familiar new names in the list of signings at Crofton.

Coming back to Nostell is former player Frank Zalo. The other signings include former Garforth players Fidelis Mhlolo and Lee Turner along with Zivanai Amiee, Liam Parkin, Anthony Lee, Jake Henderson and Paul Hustwit.

It is expected that further signings, old and new, will follow in the next few weeks.
