Hemsworth Miners Welfare manager Wayne Benn collected Non League Yorkshire’s Christian’s Carpets manager of the year award on Tuesday night.
The trophy is kindly sponsored by Leeds firm Christian’s Carpets. Christian’s Carpets have been in business for almost 30 years and has grown into one of Leeds’ largest independent carpet & flooring retailers.
Non League Yorkshire’s James Grayson was there to present the trophy following Hemsworth’s 3-1 defeat to Ossett Town.
Benn was voted as the site’s manager of the year after gaining almost half of the votes – over 600 – which were cast. Under him, Hemsworth enjoyed a record-breaking season.
