Scarborough Athletic struck three late goals to see off old adversaries Tadcaster Albion at Silver Royd.
The Seadogs ran out 3-0 winners after a tight affair held at the home of Scarborough Rugby Union club.
New Tadcaster goalkeeper Gary Stevens won the plaudits again with a number of saves – including one from ex-Albion player Joel Dixon.
Dixon was one of many players facing their old club as Tadcaster had Andy Milne, David Brown, Tom Claisse and Paddy Miller in their line-up – all four were in the Scarborough side that won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title in 2013.
The deadlock was broken with 25 minutes left on the clock as Tadcaster old boy and new Scarborough signing Steve Mallory struck a wonder goal from 30 yards.
Ryan Blott then sent a strike into the top corner before Tom Corner sealed the victory.
