Reece Thompson in action for Retford United last season
Frickley Athletic have accepted offers from two Football League clubs for young starlet Reece Thompson.
The former Retford United striker is being publicly chased by York City following his sensational goal against Newcastle United.
York boss Russ Wilcox has had his third bid accepted, but he faces competition from an un-named club, who are also free to talk to Thompson.
Thompson now looks set to complete a meteoric rise up the Football pyramid having actually started last season in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division with Retford United.
