Ryan Williams has signed for Pontefract Collieries
Pontefract Collieries preparations for their long-awaited return to the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division have been boosted by the signings of three players.
Saturday’s season opener with Armthorpe Welfare at Beechnut Lane will end their 16-year-long exile from the top flight of the NCEL.
Former Ossett Town and Frickley Athletic forward Ryan Williams is the new notable new face.
Also signing is former Glasshoughton Welfare player Joe Jackson and Brad Hutchinson, once of Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
Pontefract’s final game of pre-season is on Tuesday night when Goole AFC visit them.
