Former Harrogate Town players Nathan James and Danny Ryan will be lining up for AFC Emley this season.

The pair did belong to West Riding County Amateur League Bay Athletic, but the club have folded so Darren Hepworth has managed to lure them to the Welfare Ground.

James is best known for his spell with Harrogate Railway when he was a menace for opposition defences during the days of the infamous Station View slope.

The winger was consistently a star player for then-Harrogate manager Martin Haresign.

Ryan was previously a left-back for clubs such as Bradford (Park Avenue), Liversedge and North Ferriby United.

Striker Robbie Graham is the third player to sign for Emley in recent weeks. He is another player from the West Riding County Amateur League.

Emley kick off their Toolstation NCEL Division One campaign at Rossington Main on the opening day on Saturday.
