Paul Lines has moved closer to finalising his Nostell Miners Welfare for the new Toolstation NCEL Premier Division season.
Nostell travel to Cleethorpes Town for their opening game of the campaign looking to get off to a positive start.
Lines has kept nearly all of last season’s squad and recruited a good number too.
Three more have signed in the last week.
Liam Kellett (from Glasshoughton Welfare) and Alex Bracken, an attacker who played for Garforth Town in 2013 are the two most notable names.
The other addition is Danny Roberts, formerly of West Yorkshire League side Aberford Albion.
Lines does have a couple of players with injuries ahead of the trip to Cleethorpes as John Douglas recently broke his arm.
Striker Dale Kelly broke his hand against Harrogate Railway last week.
