Hat-trick hero Oliver Graham incredibly sent Parkgate to the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after a sensational 94th winner in an even more astounding 4-3 victory at Tadcaster Albion.

Parkgate had even trailed 3-1 with 20 minutes remaining until an unlikely comeback was mounted – which is sure to send shockwaves around the Division.

In another high-scoring encounter at the i2i Sports Stadium, a penalty fired Tadcaster ahead initially with Liam Ormsby being the successful taker.

Parkgate deservedly hit back through Graham, but parity was quickly broken again on the stroke of half-time as Josh Greening capitalised on a defensive mistake.

Tadcaster appeared to have the game wrapped up after Nick Black added the third.

But that was when things started to unravel for the home side as two goals inside five minutes levelled matters.

Sam Foulds reduced the deficit with a header before Graham broke the offside trap and lobbed Gary Stevens for his second goal of the night.

A draw was on the cards until Parkgate staged a dramatic finale – Ryan Johnson had missed a glorious chance to win it for his side until playing a part at the very death.

Johnson somehow got in behind the Tadcaster defence and he supplied Graham, who had the simple task of tapping the ball home to seal a remarkable victory.
