David Brown’s time at Tadcaster Albion has ended as the striker has signed for Ossett Town 48 hours before the start of the Evo Stik Division One North season.
Brown was left out of Tadcaster’s opening two Toolstation NCEL Premier Division matches and he returns to Ossett after previously playing at Ingfield in the early Craig Elliott days.
The forward has plenty of experience having played for Garforth Town, Ossett Albion, Halifax Town, Bradford City and Eastwood Town.
Ossett have also confirmed that Lee Connor, who came out of retirement last year, has re-signed for them.
The signings come late in a week that has been a busy one for manager John Reed.
The captures of Tyrone Gay, T’nique Fishley and Ryan Mottam-Henry were announced on Tuesday.
