Dominic Knowles rounded off a good week for Harrogate Town by scoring the dramatic last minute winner in the 2-1 victory over Hednesford Town at the CNG Stadium.
The three points builds on the win over Gainsborough in midweek and moves Harrogate up to sixth in the Vanarama National League North table.
Simon Weaver’s men opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time with Brendon Daniels striking a potential goal of the season winner from 35 yards.
Hednesford equalised on the hour mark. Paul Ennis initially saw his cross diverted away from danger until Andy Todd reacted and scored from the edge of the penalty area with a sweet volley.
A draw was on the cards until Knowles burst through and rounded Hednesford goalkeeper Dave Parton and buried the ball in the net during injury-time – sparking scenes of jubilation.
