Knaresborough captain Matt Duerden broke his arm last night

Knaresborough Town captain Matt Duerden is back home today after suffering a bad injury during the 3-0 victory at Dronfield Town last night.

Duerden spent the night in Rotherham General Hospital and has been diagnosed with a spiral fracture to his left upper arm.

A Knaresborough statement said: ”The club will support him, in any way it can, through this period and we, obviously, all wish him the speediest of recovery’s.

“The Chairman is keen to place on record the excellent service rendered by Peter Monks in the initail stages whom undoubtably prevented a bad situation becoming very much worse.”
