Steven Kenworthy has chosen Penistone Church as his destination after his recent departure from AFC Emley.
Kenworthy left the Welfare Ground on Sunday as he has failed to hold down a regular slot in the team.
It was an emotional farewell for the striker, who has been a core part of the reformed club almost since their arrival in the Toolstation NCEL in 2006.
His most memorable moment was the incredible six-goal goal for Emley in the 6-1 demolition of Handsworth back in 2011.
Kenworthy could actually make his debut for Penistone at Emley next week as that’s when Ian Richards’ side are next in action.
