Adam Priestley thought he had scored the winner for Shaw Lane against Daventry

Shaw Lane Aquaforce were seconds away from claiming a victory in the 3-3 stalemate with Daventry Town in the Evo Stik Division One South.

In a see-saw game, Aquaforce actually led 2-0 after 30 minutes. Gary Stohrer broke into the box to open the scoring before Lee Bennett scored a tap-in after Gavin Allott’s effort was saved.

Most people thought Daventry were finished, but James Tricks got the deficit reduced. Tricks then completed the turnaround soon after.

The game was petering out until Adam Priestley popped up with seemingly the winner for Shaw Lane in the last minute.

However, the was time for one last attack by Daventry and Adam Creaney unbelievably rescued a point for his side with a volley.
