Danny Facey and Ernest Boafo both got two as Brighouse Town took struggling New Mills apart in a 6-1 victory at the Dual Seal Stadium.
Three goals in the first half meant Brighouse had their fourth consecutive Evo Stik Division One North win sown up by the interval.
Issac Baldwin played a role in all three first half goals. He scored the opener with a close range finish. He was then the mastermind behind Facey’s first of the night. His quick counter-attacking play saw him set Facey up by playing the killer pass.
His next key pass was the one to Sam Hewitt, who went through on goal and scored.
New Mills, a shambles in defence, then allowed Boafo to score straight after half-time.
Boafo grabbed his second on the hour with a simple finish from inside the six-yard box.
A fortunate long range strike from Alex Elliott put gave New Mills a goal, but Brighouse soon piled more misery on the Peak District side.
Facey got the goal after being left completely unmarked at the back-post as he waited for the cross from the right.
