Pickering Town striker Calum Ward is facing a spell on the sidelines after breaking a rib and puncturing a lung.
The former Tadcaster Albion forward was carried off and taken to hospital during Pickering’s 3-0 defeat to Cleethorpes on Tuesday night.
The first game Ward will miss is the trip to Athersley Recreation on Saturday. Pickering hope the journey to Barnsley will earn them their first Toolstation NCEL Premier Division win under Paul Marshall.
Non League Yorkshire would like to pass on its best wishes to Calum.
