Paul Lines is demanding three points from injury-hit Nostell Miners Welfare tomorrow.
Nostell are on a five-match losing streak in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division and have the perfect chance to end it with the visit of struggling Athersley Rec to Crofton tomorrow.
Injuries to several key players have been a big factor in the run of defeats which is six in all competitions.
With the likes of John Douglas (broken arm), Ben Saynor (broken hand), Dave Bordman, Ste Wales (knee), Lee Turner (hamstring), Jake Henderson (bruised feet) and Blaine Kellett (groin), Lines has had to use his contacts book extensively to recruit players from across West Yorkshire.
“It has been a frustrating period in regards to injuries and suspensions,” Lines told Non League Yorkshire.
“We’re waiting for personnel to come back, but when you consider that we have played eight games away and three at home then I don’t think we’re doing too badly.
“Obviously we’re not where I want us to be because I want to be pushing for the top eight.
“However, it is difficult when you’re swapping and changes for each game.
“We are stuck in a rut though at the moment and tomorrow is a six-pointer as far as I’m concerned.
“We need a win to kick-start us and I don’t care how we get it. But, I’m sure Athersley will be thinking the same.”
Nostell are boosted by the return of Simon Poole, who missed the trip to Garforth Town because of work commitments.
Lines has also confirmed that Dale Kelly has left the club because of work commitments.
