Paddy Miller’s transfer back to Farsley Celtic was confirmed last night.

The move ends his 12-month stint with Tadcaster Albion where he was a popular figure.

He goes straight into Farsley’s squad for the FA Trophy clash with Prescot Cables today.

Miller, who has also played Scarborough Athletic and Yorkshire Amateur, spent the 2013-14 season with Farsley.

Tadcaster chief Billy Miller said: “Paddy has made a decision to move up a league and go back to Farsley to where he did so well before.

“We wish him well. Paddy has been a great servant to the club. He has played in every game until tonight (the Pickering game).

“If the opportunity comes along, sometimes players have to take it. It is Non League football, players move around all the time.

“You only have to look at the league website to see how many players are moving about.”
