Selby Town travel to Westella VIP to face former boss Leon Sewell’s side

Westella VIP boss Leon Sewell will lead his side into battle against his former one Selby Town in the FA Vase second qualifying round tomorrow.

Sewell was the manager of Selby for nine matches at the start of the 2011-12 season before being sacked after failing to win a game. He has recently said that he has no hard feelings over the decision.

Sewell returned to the Toolstation NCEL in summer after leading Westella out of the Central Midlands League last season.

His side are currently a good run after three consecutive victories which have lifted them up the Division One table.

The intriguing contest will also Dave Ricardo, the eighth Selby boss since Sewell, look to return to winning ways after last week’s draw at Eccleshill United.

The tie takes place at the home of Barton Town Old Boys where Westella ground-share.

Other Vase ties include Garforth Town’s trip to Whickham.

Rossington Main travel to Irlam Town to play Northwich Manchester Villa, Bridlington Town head to Sunderland RCA.

There are also away trips for Yorkshire Amateur (to Hebburn), Hall Road Rangers (to Darlington RA) and Hemsworth Miners Welfare (to Bacup Borough).

Handsworth Parramore are at home to Cheadle Town, Matlby entertain Bottesford, Armthorpe welcome Ashton Town and AFC Emley host Congleton.
