Harrogate Town assistant boss John McDermott will get a reunion with Grimsby Town in the fourth qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup.
McDermott, who is Grimsby’s record appearance holder and one of their greatest players, will welcome his old club to Harrogate in less than two weeks’ time.
McDermott told the club’s official website: “It is a great draw for the club for the fans and for me personally.
“It will be a great atmosphere as Grimsby take a great following away and are very vocal, but so are ours.
“I’m pleased for the players they deserve to play in big games so I’m pleased its at home.
“I’ve never come up against Grimsby apart from pre season so will it be strange. But it’s not about me it’s about our squad of players competing against a good side looking to progress.”
Another top draw is FC Halifax Town’s home game with Guiseley at the Shay.
North Ferriby United will visit either Chasetown or Stalybridge Celtic.
If Bradford (Park Avenue) can defeat Salford City in the replay on Wednesday then Martin Drury’s men will entertain Southport.
