Farsley Celtic moved up two places in the Evo Stik Division One North table after a stunning 7-0 victory over manager-less Witton Albion at Throstle Nest.
Farsley stormed to a comfortable three goal advantage after just 20 minutes.
Paul Walker struck a tremendous long range effort for the opener before Aiden Savory doubled the lead.
Aaron Hardy then converted a penalty to complete Farsley’s dream start.
The second half was further nightmare for Witton as Lewis Nightingale scored the fourth with a fearsome strike from the edge of the penalty area.
A second Hardy penalty saw Farsley reach five before Savory and Walker added their second goals of the night to take Farsley to seventh heaven.
Farsley Celtic: Taylor, Hardy, Grant, O’Brien, Clayton, Miller, Nightingale, Daly, Walker, Savory, Stevens. Subs: Lofthouse, Osborne, Hancock, Sugden, Harrison.
