Pontefract boss Nick Handley has Richard Watson to call upon today
Pontefract Collieries have secured the signing of Retford United goalkeeper Richard Watson.
The move was completed on Friday afternoon after a frantic race across the United Kingdom to finalise the deal for Pontefract’s secretary.
Watson, who started the season with Athersley Rec, is relief cover for Pontefract as Craig Parry is injured and Ellis Halpine is away this weekend.
He is set to make his debut against Cleethorpes Town at Beechnut Lane this afternoon.
