Hull United claim that beaten Rugby League Challenge Cup finalists Hull KR’s Craven Park will be their new home.
Hull made the announcement last night, which has yet to be confirmed by the Toolstation NCEL board.
The Division One side were kicked off Dene Park earlier this month and according to the club, the visit of Bottesford on Tuesday 10th November will be the first game at Craven Park.
Chairman Ian Ashbee said: “This is an exciting move for us and we are grateful to everybody at Hull Kingston Rovers for their kind support.
“The KC Lightstream Stadium is a fantastic ground and having those kind of facilities available to us will be a real boost. I understand that Rovers have had a good record on their own pitch this season and I’m sure our players would love the same.
“The league have given us their approval and we’re confident this move will help us to take the club to the next level moving forwards.
“However, it’s also positive news for grassroots football in the city and the wider community and I’d like to thank Rovers for their generosity and understanding.”
