Yorkshire Amateur got lucky after scoring three last gasp goals to win 4-1 at struggling Lincoln Moorlands Railway.

It must have been a frustrating afternoon for the Ammers, who had hoped to replicate their excellent display in the West Riding County Cup defeat to higher league Garforth Town.

Instead there were shades of the surprise loss to Hall Road Rangers last week as Lincoln took a shock lead – Geno Robinson with the strike in the 20th minute.

The Ammers created a flurry of chances and talisman Joel Hughes converted a penalty to level matters close to half-time.

It wasn’t a one sided affair in the second half as both teams had opportunities.

The visitors took advantage of Lincoln tiring in the last ten minutes to take all three points.

Craig Heard broke Lincoln’s resistance with a long range strike before adding a second to firmly kill the home side off.

Harrison Blakey completed the scoring during injury-time.
