Former Bradford City manager Terry Dolan has gone back to his roots by becoming a director of Bradford (Park Avenue).
Dolan began his career at Avenue when they were a Football League club back in the 1960s before going onto play for Huddersfield Town, Bradford and Rochdale.
As a manager, he was in charge at Valley Parade for two years in the 1980s. He also managed Rochdale, Hull City and York City.
His most recent period as a manager was at Guiseley between 2006 and 2007.
In the last year he has been an advisor and coach for RIASA.
Avenue owner Gareth Roberts said: “We’re really pleased that Terry has agreed to join the board. He will bring a wealth of professional knowledge and experience in the sport of football, both on and off the pitch, to help inform some of our decision making.
“We hope he will play a key role in securing our role in the local community, promoting our current teams and also helping to spearhead a growth in our youth football.”
