Roly Lanes has been confirmed as Mick Norbury’s assistant manager at Glasshoughton Welfare.
Lanes has been helping Norbury out since the start of the season, but Phil Lindley held the role of assistant manager until a few weeks ago.
The former Bradford (Park Avenue) midfielder combined his coaching duties with a playing role. He has now left Leeds Road and is back playing for Pontefract Collieries.
Locally based Lanes is a former manager of Pontefract and until the end of the last season, he was the assistant manager at AFC Emley.
