Selby Town have signed two brothers to help push themselves further up the Toolstation NCEL Division One table.
The Coopers brothers, midfielders Jordan and Brodie, have arrived at Selby from Division rivals Hallam and could make their debuts in the home clash with Rossington Main tomorrow.
Dave Ricardo said: “Jordan is a player I have known from my playing days and is extremely effective at this level.
“Brodie is a young talent but has played a number of games at this and is someone I have heard very good reports of.
“They both offer a lot of quality to the squad and give us a massive boost with many games coming and the pitches getting heavier which means that the full squad is used.
“I would like to go on record to thank Hallam and in particular their manager Ryan (Hindley) who have been extremely open in the transfer process and have acted professionally throughout.”
Ricardo has been critical of Goole this week over the way the transfer of striker Chris Jackson was conducted.
Ricardo described it as “disrespectful” in an interview with the York Press.
