Shaw Lane Aquaforce were unable to cause a shock after losing 2-1 to Matlock Town in the FA Trophy second round tie in Barnsley.
It was former Harrogate Town striker Danny Holland who struck the winner for Matlock in the second half.
The first half was pretty much a non-event with both sides struggling to play in the dreadful conditions.
However, Aquaforce and Matlock flew out of the blocks in the second half and the match was decided by three goals in 13 minutes.
The opener for Matlock came from a cross from the left by Craig Nelthorpe. Former Handsworth Parramore midfielder Nicky Travis raced into the box and slid the ball into the net.
Aquaforce responded almost instantly as Stevie Istead struck from distance with a low drive – a rare goal for the former Buxton midfielder.
Again the ball went down the other end and Matlock celebrated the winner when Holland struck from close range.
