Chris Ovington’s transfer from Ossett Town to Harrogate Railway has been confirmed.
Ovington signed for Railway hours before the abandoned Evo Stik Division One North clash between the two clubs.
The lively winger was unable to play anyway he was serving the final match of a ban. Because of the abandonment, it means he will have to sit out of Railway’s trip to Bamber Bridge next week.
Railway boss Lee Ashforth said: “I’m really pleased to add Chris to the squad.
“He brings plenty of Evo Stik experience and will be an asset going forward.”
Railway have also confirmed the loan signing of Marcus Day from Harrogate Town.
