Ryan Pleasants has signed for Athersley Rec
Athersley Rec’s hopes of surviving the drop are increasing by the day after a further addition to their attack.
After last week’s headline-grabbing captures of Joe Thornton and Eddie Hague, Athersley have signed Ryan Pleasants from Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
Pleasants, who has had a couple of stints with Hemsworth, has also played for AFC Emley.
The striker could make his debut today if Athersley’s Toolstation NCEL Premier Division with Pontefract Collieries goes ahead.
