Steven Jeff has left Ossett Town to join Evo Stik Premier Division side Frickley Athletic.
Jeff’s decision to test himself at a higher level has brought the curtain down on his two-and-half year spell with Ossett.
For the majority of his time at Ossett, he has been the captain at Ingfield. He will also be remembered at Ossett for his two-game caretaker manager stint in February 2014 after Craig Elliott’s departure.
Former Tadcaster left-back Jeff won one and drew the other match – but the win at Cammell Laird goes down in Ossett’s history as one of their greatest victories as Jeff had to take a patched-up side to Birkenhead.
